Therapy is new for me. What can I expect?

I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to learn about why you are seeking therapy, for you to ask any questions, and to see if this feels like a good fit. The first Intake session is about information gathering, getting to know each other, and getting comfortable with the process of treatment. In the beginning, weekly sessions are common and help us build rapport & get an idea of your treatment goals. The frequency and length of sessions is specific to each individual and their needs.

Do You Take Insurance?

No, I am not paneled with insurance companies. There are many benefits to private pay, such as more privacy with your treatment, more choice in length of treatment, and not requiring a diagnosis for services. With private pay rates, therapists don’t have to take on as large of a caseload for a livable income, making them less burnt out, and ensuring better quality services for clients. I can provide you with a Superbill at request, which is a receipt for your payments that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company directly for specific information regarding your eligibility.

Per Colorado Medicaid guidelines, I am unable to work with folks who have Medicaid.

Wonder Within provides you with a Good Faith Estimate of the cost of services, in compliance with the No Surprises Act, effective January 1, 2022, to protect against "surprise billing".

What are your rates for therapy?

Individual Therapy (50 minutes) - $175

Individual Therapy (80 minutes) - $262

Longer sessions (2+ hours) & EMDR Individual Intensives (3+ hours) - Available upon request

Sliding scale? Yes, when available.

Fees are structured from my education, experience, specialized & advanced training, and expertise.

Individual Supervision for LPCC’s: $160/hour

Consultation for Licensed Professionals: $160/hour

What Types of Payment Do You Accept?

Major Credit Cards, or Health Savings/Flexible Spending Cards are accepted as payment for services.  A card is kept securely on file and is charged at the time of services.

Where are you located?

I am located in Fort Collins, Colorado with in-person options, as well as Telehealth (online) services for residents of Colorado, Missouri, & Kansas. Services take place over a confidential, HIPAA-compliant video communication platform.
